"The food is so good! I had to order extra to take home for later. The prime rib was excellent! The cut was choice, I ate it with horseradish, very tender and juicy. The patty melt was very good, using two grilled cheese sandwiches as the bread. The clam chowder is homemade, the best I've ever had, it's similar to a lobster bisque. The server was very sweet and helped us box up our extras. I visited on a Saturday around 4pm before the rush."

"It's been downhill for years. They still have the best bread around. The issue is that the prices keep going up but the quality has gone down. The last several torpedoes that I have ordered are very skimpy on the toppings. It cost almost ten dollars for four pieces of ham, six slices of salami. They have the deluxe option, which has the same amount of toppings that the regular used to have, but at a big upcharge. It'd be better to go to krogers, buy their sweet bread, get thier deli meat and make your own. It's a shame."
