Grove And Tavern - Decatur

I've been here for months. Amazing wings, chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers, burgers, cauliflowers, Queso and much more. Bobby, Ryan, Greg, all employees feel like at home, whether you drink alone, dinner with the Fam, or just watching the game. You will not see The Grove on all send lists, but so we like it; a local jewel with incredible people and moats. I hope this place will last forever!

We usually love to go here, congruent, I have to share an unfortunate experience. We were hoping to get a high table in the bar. I know funny, but it's what we like. Place was packed and fortunately there was a couple to leave. We asked the hostess and what seemed to be a manager if we could have the high top. You said, let's clean it up. Since we wanted to sit a woman at a high top, not two feet of which we stood, regardless of us, managers, Chris and some people come later, we can have this table and push them together. Manager then asked us nicely if we would take a stand in the corner because he had promised the table to someone, although we saw that they asked him right in front of us. I know it was kind of small of us, but felt very light. Disappointed that we do not go back because we really love the food and the atmosphere. Very obvious that the place Karen governs the place.

We recently moved near and this has become our way for our family of 4. Leave behind neighborhood spot with surprisingly good bar food. Favourite are the chicken salads and sandwiches and Buffalo shrimps. twice from here when the family was in town (per their request). Always friendly service and we enjoy sitting outside when the weather is nice. Great place to be so close.

I really enjoyed this spot! Traveling with my 18 year old who is extremely picky and myself being a pescetarien can make finding some where to eat difficult. They had plenty of seafood options and wings! The vibe was great, our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly, and the price was good!Food: 4/5

Good little neighborhood sports bar with plenty of TVs and a good beer selection. The food is very good as well. I had the Philly cheesesteak and tots, both were very good.
