The Malay in at Dee Why served authentic Malay dishes at low low prices. I reviewed it 18 months ago and gave it 5 stars. Now it's gone. The signs are still there advising opening hours and there are take away menus on the locked shutter but ...the business has closed. Went here recently and I can only think this place must have changed hands - no familiar faces and the food is different. The Chicken Laksa was dreadful - absolutely no flavour or spice - was insipid and seemed watery. It also had all this carrot and celery in it - see photo.
