This recent addition to the cuisine scene on Wharf Street, opposite Woolworth, deserve a mention !The décor is sedate and uncluttered and the staff efficient and friendly. The menu is massive and its BYO.The service is timely and on cool evenings the plates come hot. Food quality and quantity are superior andvery generous. The tab will not break you. Discovered Oporto 10 years ago when I spent a year in Australia, determined to eat at as many Oporto’s I can find during this jaunt around Australia. The Oporto on 900 Pittwater Road was along our way to a friends’ house so we stopped to get the Oporto fix I needed. Service was helpful, food came out quickly and it is priced right.
