"Ever drive past a place a couple dozen times and wonder what it's like? The Wilno Tavern, with it's inviting Polish fresco exterior is exactly that kind of place. Sunday nights are Polish buffet nights, with likely the best and tastiest meal deal in the Ottawa Valley as locals belly up to a scrumptious combination of perogies, sausage, herring (yes, herring) and other delicacies. But ask around and the diners will tell you that Tuesday nights is the night to stop by when the joint is hopping with the blues. Getting to Wilno for a Tuesday night is a challenge, but definitely a quest worth pursuing."
