"If you are looking to escape the pretentiousness of Utica Square, Cherry Street, Brookside, and Downtown, this is the place. You will never eat better food from a plainer, less sexy place. Ralph's is cheap, fast, and authentic comfort food. My personal gauge for good food in this genre is chicken gizzards, and Ralph's gizzards are fresh, tender, and flavorful to the max. The folks that work here are a bit gruff, but it really doesn't matter because you only see them through a tiny window. There is outside seating, and the building looks like it's falling down, but until it does, this is some of the best burger/chicken/catfish fare in town."
