Pastelandia Bakery - DeKalb

Once you go into the door, you will be hit with the most amazing aroma. Every pastry I've ever had was wonderful. Not excessively sweet with excellent taste.

For years I've heard about Barb City Bagels, but I miss the time I'm usually in this area in the afternoon. Today I have it on time and it was a wonderful, delicious experience!!! My son ordered both a lunch (Turkey Bagel and breakfast bagel with 2-cream cheese, I ordered everything with half simple and half veggie to try them both, then French toast and Cinn-Raisin Bagel-Bombs (they call them bites, but we called them bombs, good!!! Everything was hot, freshly served, the whole restaurant smells amazingly bakery and coffee. Relaxing atmosphere and staff was great!!

I was hungry as I was looking for a place to eat or something to pick up, as I had a hair app over the street when I was relatively new to DeKalb (3yrs and saw this place and 'mmelted' coffee: I ordered a Cinnamon Raisin with cream cheese as well as a turkey something and then I saw the sweetest MUG (which I really love and look forward to going back soon to sit down to enjoy hazelnut as well as a bagel

The woman and I decided to go for lunch, and we gave this place a try. Actually, she had tried her bagels and liked them. It was my first time. It was a strange time between breakfast and lunch. My wife is a breakfast man, I'm more of a lunch. So she had breakfast and I had lunch. She had a bag of Sante Fe Eggwich, and I had her 3 cheeses Roast Beef on a whole bagel. MMMMMMMMM. Very good, the bagels were delicious, and the sandwiches were good. I also grabbed a cookie and a bag of chips. Drinks were the usual with many special teas, and many coffee options. Really good things at reasonable prices.

Super helpful people, great selection, delicious treats. Highly recommend.
