Excellent experience. Prices are great, and the quesabirria was awesome. Seriously, some of the best stuff I've ever had. Service was good, the A/C was down but I didn't really mind it. Overall a really great experience and I hope I can returnsometime. I recommend it to anyone. View all feedback.
What Amanda Tran doesn't like about El Taco Rico Mexican Kitchen:
It wasn't bad but not the greatest. Their portions I would give 5 stars ? the only thing that made the expensive price worth it. Need more seasonings on the food was rather bland. Small little spot nothing to write home about and the service was just meh. They weren't rude but the hospitality was sub-par for only 2 tables and mainly takeout pick up food.Parking: You have to find an available space which not many to b... View all feedback.

I love the Birria so much but I feel like now they gotten so cheap with the consomé… they either forget it or when I do get it cups are filled half way. They don’t fill it to the top anymore :
Was in town for an event at Stetson University, and the two of us were looking for an interesting place to eat, and Mexican appealed to both of us as soon as we saw this place. It's a tiny place, and almost every table was taken (a good sign), and there was a steady stream of take-out customers. It isn't fancy, but I don't care about that at all. The food is all that counts. We were first served a generous cup of salsa and chips. The salsa was blended smooth, not chunky, which is my favorite kind of salsa (but rare), and was spicy and delicious. The chips were house made and crispy. For my entree, I got a Wet Burrito, which is what I usually get at a Mexican restaurant, with spicy pork carnitas, and my companion got a chicken Chimichanga. Both were as perfect as we've ever had anywhere, fat and full, with a generous side of rice and refried beans. It was excellent, and so big that neither of us finished it all. We were both extremely happy with our selections. The whole dinner came to just under $40, with tip, which is an excellent value. Chipotle wouldn't have been much less, and not nearly as good.Later, at the event, I even overheard one student recommending it to another student.A grand slam home run, and highly, highly recommended.
Great option when you near town. Price are competitive, I got quesabirria tacos they taste good, I try platillo rico and it was plenty of food at least for me, and it was good. “fresh juices” not to great, soda is better. Give it a try there is a lot of more items to try.Parking: The best option is to go and get a spot is on the free parking lot that is behind the buildings.
The food is good! But the WAIT is soooo annoying. Litterly every single time I go to pick up food even if it’s a small order it’s always (minimum) 30 minutes or more. Everyone I know, stopped doing pick up orders and doordash from here.
