"So that was a pleasant surprise! I ordered the almond chicken, beef fried rice no onions and pork fried rice no onions. It was all great. The almond chicken was so juicy and tasteful. The fried rice were also very tasty and delicious! We just ordered to go because we have children and would rather eat at home for convenience. But my husband picked up the food and said that the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly, even on a busy rainy Sunday night. We live in a nearby city and hoped to find REALLY GOOD Chinese food without having to drive all the way to Bakersfield. Well, this food was the best Chinese I had since I moved back to the valley for a few years! I always go back to the New China Restaurant!"

"Stopped for dinner, which happened to be the first thing we've eaten all day. The food was a bit above average. Not spectacular, but not bad, either. On the other hand, once our meals arrived, the service was God-awful. I ran out of water, wife ran out of ice tea, and our waitress was too busy sitting at the bar, on the phone. So, after waiting 10 minutes, my wife took those still-empty glasses up to the bar. Does our waitress get them filled and bring them back? Nope. That would have meant putting her damn phone down and doing her job. So, the girl behind the bar did it for her. I'll bet she was stunned when she realized that there wasn't a tip."
