What June Amison doesn't like about The Kings Head:
Very disappointed. Lasagne and chicken both dry and hard chips after waiting nearly an hour to be served seven though we pre booked. Will not be returning. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 View all feedback.

Fantastic little local with a friendly atmosphere. Excellent Food Drink. Undoubtedly one of the best country pubs in the Vale of Clwyd

"Visiting my home town after 40 years away and a nice surprise to see things I still recognised as well as things new. Thaidee was one of the new things and what a nice surprise. The food was excellent, with wonderful flavours and fresh ingredients. I settled for a change cken and coconut flavoured soup for a starter followed by a green curry. Both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and great company answering questions about the food and listening to my reminiscing about the town I left in the 1980s. The restaurant also serves take away food, but I will be returning to eat at their tables. "Due to covid restrictions the restaurant is only supplying pre prepared takeaway meals, but what a treat. Simple re heat instructions left us with a superb meal for two, of five star quality, for less than thirty pounds. I have no idea how they do it.If you're considering a takeaway, give it a try, you're in for a real treat. Many thanks to staff at On the Hill."
