"Due to covid restrictions the restaurant is only supplying pre prepared takeaway meals, but what a treat. Simple re heat instructions left us with a superb meal for two, of five star quality, for less than thirty pounds. I have no idea how they do it.If you're considering a takeaway, give it a try, you're in for a real treat. Many thanks to staff at On the Hill."

"Visiting my home town after 40 years away and a nice surprise to see things I still recognised as well as things new. Thaidee was one of the new things and what a nice surprise. The food was excellent, with wonderful flavours and fresh ingredients. I settled for a change cken and coconut flavoured soup for a starter followed by a green curry. Both perfectly cooked and very tasty. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and great company answering questions about the food and listening to my reminiscing about the town I left in the 1980s. The restaurant also serves take away food, but I will be returning to eat at their tables. "Popped in for lunch while on holiday, just passing by. Would definitely recommend. Lovely friendly service, good quality, tasty, fresh food and generous portions. Didn't have room, but their selection of cakes looked tasty too. Added bonus for us aquatic hobbyists is their fabulous selection...of fish tanks dotted around the restaurant, lovely to see such variety in clean and well kept condition."

"Stayed here for two nights while touring Wales on our motorbike. A brilliant location for Snowdonia national park and the wonderful roads going north or the road from Builth Wells and the Elan Valley. It's a beautiful quirky hotel with 5 rooms a lovely bar, restaurant and outside area. The staff are really friendly. The food was amazing. The breakfast was generous and extremely good quality. And then we come to our evening meal... a good menu and we opted for a pie each. I had steak and guniess and OH had chicken leek and ham. Both were superb and it's hands down the best evening meal we've had on our tour of Wales service, price, ambiance nothing to fault about this place. Heads up the restaurant isn't open on a Monday and recommend you book in advance in the evening although there were walk ins later in the evening. Definitely recommend and will visit again if we're touring this part of Wales again."

"Absolutely disgusting lamb kofta, meat was inedible full of fat and gristle made me physically sick when i ate the first piece, is this roadkill your using in your kebabs?? needless to say went in the bin another absolute waste of money from a fast food place really need a good check these people through somebody what exactly the crap is there serving, needless to say last ever visit there."
