"Called and ordered a takeaway, don’t get me wrong food was lovely however there does not seem to be a reduced cost for a takeaway which is unusual. Come on 40 quid for a takeaway for two is not justified in my book regardless of how nice the food is."

"As previously stated, looks fab from outside…that’s the only good thing about it! the few reviews I could find all said good (they send you a link to review on sugar vine which is clearly filtered as there’s not one bad review on there!! . Food was ok but very very expensive for what is basically cafe grub….extremely limited menu. This is clearly a locals pub that is pretending to be a foodie pub…it isn’t! Noise and screaming kids from large group of staff members friends was horrendous, every other word was a swear word and their mate vaping in the restaurant when people are eating…gross! Staff couldn’t really give two hoots about whether everything was ok. Will never go back or recommend to anyone, was crap and waste of money."

"Went to see what the new owners have done to the place and eat. they are still dog-friendly, which is great. we had the burgers and riders who was beautiful, but the Burger-Bap was unfortunately dry all that needed, was a bit mayo on the bottom and burger suace on the top and it would be perfect. the bap remained together, making it easier to eat. the rindfleischburger himself was cooked much better than the last time we had a few months ago, so the new owners have my positive vote and we will come back for more. the hand boiled fires were too good, so almost perfect just a little sauce they need to see soon."
