We had a really enjoyable evening here. The food was lovely and very good value, and they were lovely to our dogs. Would definitely recommend and go back.

"Another lovely lunch with friends this month at Tudor House, Paul and Ivor always make you feel welcome, and the standard of food and service from their friendly staff is always top notch. "ON A COLD WINTERS NIGHT WE FELT WE HAD WALKED INTO A VILLAGE HALL, THIS ISN'T AN INTERIOR DESIGN CRITIC BUT THE PLACE FELT BARE AND EMPTY, NO CURTAINS AT THE WINDOWS GAVE A STARK COLD ATMOSPHERE. BACKGROUND MUSIC QUITE OVERBEARING, FOOD WAS OK, WE ARE VERY AWARE OF THE COST OF LIVING CRISIS AND SYMPATHISE VERY MUCH BUT WE DIDN'T FEEL £8 FOR A MUSHROOM STARTER WAS GOOD VALUE AT ALL, WITHOUT THE 20% DISCOUNT OFF MAIN COURSES THE BILL WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY POOR VALUE FOR MONEY AND SADLY WE WON'T BE RETURNING"

"On a recent weekend break we noticed that Kim's Kitchen was dog friendly and ventured in. It's a small place but full of character. Bacon baps and coffees were excellent and my dog enjoyed the ham (yes even a wee menu for dogs). It was busy whe we were in and service was quite slow. A young girl was getting some training and the staff were very polite and friendly and it was no problem for us having a slightly longer wait. We went there for breakfast before heading home at the end of our holiday and food was excellent again and staff friendly. Different music selection on different days was a great feature too! A great place to visit when in the area!"

"It has always been a pleasure each time we visit the Sugar Plum tea room. We had two different meals off the menu both were really tasty, with a pot of tea for two. The wife selected a huge piece of coffee n walnut cake to take home for later. Well done all at this lovely cafe."
