Five friends and dinner together and we all enjoyed our food. Some rice crepes, curry dish, lemongrass rice noodle bowl and shared spring rolls. Everything was seasoned well and ample enough for leftovers. The service was friendly, prompt and we all felt that the staff or owners cared about our experience. What Name Wolff doesn't like about Anise Modern Vietnamese Eatery:
The food was decent but the prices are outrageous. My friend and i got fried rice, curry and crispy pork rolls. No alcohol, just one Vietnamese coffee and a coke. I kid you not, $90 after a 20 View all feedback.
Great ambiance; loved the background music. A little short staffed while I was there. The price was a little much for quantity and quality, but they may be because of the pandemic/inflation. Super well cooked tofu.
2nd time in Denver and HAD to stop here again. Their curry with tofu and rice was fantastic and I got the Anise vegan special again (literally the reason I came back) and it lived up to expectations! The food is definitely high-quality and fresh and I can’t wait to fly back just to try some more of their dishes!
The beef spring rolls were the best we’ve ever had! Fresh tasting and delicious! Didn’t get to snap a pic but they were very good. Bahn Mi’s are also really great! Food Staff did a great job!
Great Vietnamese restaurant. Awesome service and delicious food. Has the pork vermicelli and crispy pork rolls. The rolls were so good I destroyed them before I could take a photo.
Wow!! This place is soo good! All the food is so fresh and the sauce served with the food A ! I’m vegan and there are lots of vegan choices. I had the lemongrass noodle. Just so incredibly good! The staff was also A . Highly recommend!
