Contribute FeedbackCharcoal Bistro has received mixed reviews, with some diners praising the delicious food and pleasant staff during their restaurant week visit. However, there were complaints about issues such as a severe nut allergy not being taken seriously, limited menu options for vegan, gluten-free, and vegetarian guests, and a strong sewer smell in the restaurant. Overall, the experience seems to vary depending on individual visits, with some patrons eager to return while others were not sufficiently impressed. Despite the drawbacks, the food quality was generally well-received, and the staff received high praise for their professionalism and service.
Food, service and ambiente were excellent. we had the vegan meal (4-courses) that was incredible. taste, texture was excellent! we also tried the salmon court that was also excellent! we will be back and invite our friends to accompany us.
Chef amy and the entire team of charcoal bistro continue to increase both the eating and the entire culinary experience. constant innovation with exceptional craftsmanship leads to new but spectacular foods each time. thanks to erica and matte that we are always welcome!
The food was delicious and the restaurant had a great ambiente.
Visited charcoal bistro during the restaurant week and had a great time! everyone with whom we came into contact was very pleasant and eating was delicious. in portions were good, with the exception of the biscuit and pirmento cheese, but this is probably a good thing because I could eat about 20 of them! I am very happy to come back very soon!
Went for Denver Restaurant Week. Appropriate amount of food for $45 price not too little like sometime DRW is known for. Enjoyed the biscuit with pimento cheese, bacon wrapped dates, and short ribs. Also ordered bread w honey and garlic butter yum! Dessert was just okay reheated/hard brownie with an attempt at enhanced vanilla ice cream with caramel or something. Downside: horrible smell emanating throughout the restaurant something from a sewer line? My friend said they wouldn't go back wasn't impressed with her alcoholic drink, fried chicken, and the smell.
