I'm really spoiled when it comes to Mexican food. this place is really impressive! they have a vegan menu, as well as a great drink menu filled with fresh juices, aguas and horchata! my favorite thing is that they do not rely on fake meat and cheezes. so many vegetables, mushrooms and nopales (cactus) fill the great options of tacos, enchiladas, sopas etc. read more.

In pleasant weather you can even have something in the outdoor area.

What User doesn't like about Kahlo's:
While i enjoyed my meal here, I wish that the restaurant would have a substitute for vegan for the items that they have to take off of entrees instead of paying the same price and having to remove cheese and such. The food was great, but I would not necessarily say this is a vegan friendly cafe if there is nothing on the menu that is vegan without removing cheese/etc. read more.

Awesome neighborhood spot! Enchilada heaven! I really enjoyed my steak enchiladas and my fiancés carnitas enchiladas (verde) were excellent as well. Can’t wait...

Very impressed by everything we ordered. Tried several fruit smoothies the Baja fish tacos, shrimp taco plate and my absolute favorite ice cream with churros!!...
