Love this place. Classic older Colfax building, open space with lots of light, feels good hanging out for a while enjoying a delicious sandwich. They have the deli regulars and interesting updates as well. Everything we've had is very tasty. Super nice people. Oh, and cocktails and beer for when we're driving home from work and stop by. Such a great part of the neighborhood. View all feedback.
What Madonna Ellerbee doesn't like about Tessa Delicatessen:
I have eaten here before and I thought that the French toast was really good so I ordered some this morning. When I opened the Box this is what it looked like. There is NO syrup. The toast is burnt. There's just a couple little blueberries in there. I thought maybe the syrup was on the toast but no, It is dry as a bone. This is very disappointing. View all feedback.
The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious; every bite was a burst of flavor, and the service was impeccable. I'll definitely be returning for more.
Wow! I hadn’t been to Tessa in awhile and picked up breakfast today. So damn amazing. The french toast is bonkers. Perfect breakfast burrito. Go there!
SO good! The OG Italian sandwich was incredibly fresh, everything from the soft bread to the flavorful meats and the kinda spicy but super tasty spread was on point! Also-don’t skip the carrot cake because my lawd it was perfection. Friendly and welcoming- perfect spot for lunch.
We shared the Rueben and Brisket Dipper. They were both fantastic, but the Brisket ruled the day
Tessa is one of our favorite places to go for lunch. Amazing, fresh, high quality ingredients. I wish there were just a couple more vegetarian options, but the Kale CZR is to die for! My husband obsesses over the deli turkey.
