We are regular visitors to George's and have always been happy with 5*review. On this occasion though we were slightly disappointed. The shop door doesn't close so we experienced an icy draft whilst waiting for the food and our plan to sit in was reconsidered. I ordered 1 small meal deal and a large. What Fufugirl1 doesn't like about George's Tradition Allestree:
I stopped by to pick up a small fish and chips meal deal for takeaway. I'm not sure how it qualifies as a deal at £8.40, but that's just one complaint. The main issue was the exceptionally small piece of fish, which was covered in a soggy batter, and the chips were barely warm, clearly pre-cooked a long time before my visit.
