One of the best pizza restaurants in the country... right up there with Pepe's (the original, the franchise sites are a great disappointment) and Modern. Cuz it is in the valley and not in downtown New Haven, it is missed by all restaurant and food critics if you have the best pizza items. Yes, the lines can be long, but worth waiting... First time ordering from this place today 4/5 and the girl who picked up the phone was VERY rude. Told me it’s going to take 1.5 hours for a pizza and salad? Then she quickly hung up on me. I was very tempted to call back and cancel my order so I can go somewhere else where I know they deserve my service. Probably consider retraining her or replacing her. Always a good meal and you get a lot for your buck food very tasteful, love the seafood pizza Freud calamari and the penne lobster yummy!!! Yummy!!!!
Pizza snobs, Wooster St is not the only destination in CT worthy of praise for best pizza. Amazing thin crust and top notch ingredients. The homemade curly italian bread is crusty, dense, and unbelievable. The feel inside is warm, and homey and unpretentious. You are treated like extended family. I will definitely make this a regular destination from now on.
