Stayed at the Moon Inn for a couple of nights whilst visiting the Peak District, and what a great find. The pub and staff were all friendly and welcoming. Good selection of beers and wines. The room was cosy, nicely decorated, and very clean. We had dinner both nights in the pub and that wasn't our original plan, but the food was so good we decided to try other dishes on the menu. Will definitely go back again! View all feedback.

What MammaTraveler doesn't like about The Moon Inn:
Unfortunately, this inn is not very nice. The carpets are worn and dirty. The towels are ragged, threadbare, and dingy. Our bedspread had numerous stains on it. Ick! And the hallway and our room were filled with the smell of a “Plug In” that was overwhelming and made us wonder what the smell they were trying to cover up was.
