Fish. Even if we often go there, I usually get oysters. The new owners changed the recipe of coating on the fish and I don't like it either. Too much flour or something. The oysters are usually good. read more.

We drove up from Lake Charles to eat some “Catfish” at the Catfish Hut because a friend had told me how good it was. I was very disappointed to find out the the Catfish Hut doesn’t actually serve Catfish. But instead, a substitute fish from Asia called Swai, a white-fleshed, neutral-flavored fish typically imported from Vietnamese fish farms.
