"Had a rainy walk along the Quay today and stopped for a bite to eat! Little one loved the haddock and said the chips are the best she's ever had!! I agree they were amazing!! Great food, fantastic staff and great to see everything cooked so freshly with great passion in every order and the prices are really good too! Thanks guys!"

"Reception and service need a lot of attention. Waiting time l o n gggg! Having been told service started at 4.30pm, when we arrived for our table, we were told service started at 5pm! Staff informed us we would have to wait while they served a large group, who I would have thought would have booked, and therefore buffet food should have been prepared. It made us feel that we were less important than the group! While we waited for our order to be taken, 2 other tables got their food, even though the diners arrived after us. Very poor."

"We as a family really enjoy the food here and visit regularly. Never had a negative experience and the food is always delicious. I 'd consider myself as a bit of a foodie and a decent home cook, and wouldd be critical if the food was not up to standard. One grip I would have and I read on another review about a Chef blowing his nose and then reaching into a bucket for tobacco onions with his bare hands. I also witnessed a Chef digging into a bucket for Prawn Crackers with his bare hands and then distributing them onto the plate. Surely not the best food hygiene practice and things like ' 'prawn crackers ' 'and crispy onions would be better handled with a gloved hand or by using a utensil. I suppose lots of other none hygienic cooking practice 's go unseen in the closed kitchen 's. I often watch Chefs on Television rubbing their sweaty foreheads and faces with their hands and then go ont o handle food directly after. That why I prefer home cooking. The Magnet will continue to be a favourite of ours and we will return regularly. A great little spot to go out for dinner."

"My wife and I have been there 4 times now and have not had a bad experience. On our last visit I fainted due to a known condition. The staff were brilliant dealing with me and also my wife who was a little upset. All in all great food and fantastic staff."

"Lucas was so nice. restaurant is cozy and beautiful and even a bit romantic in the night. eating was delicious as many beginners and the lenses main course is amazing. very Mediterranean naturally with the crumbling and seasoning"

"I ended up there more by chance and without a reservation and only had to wait a short time for a free table. The service was quick, attentive and friendly. The pricing is a bit unclear, there are no prices in the menu directly next to the dishes. There only seems to be a fixed price for 2 or 3 courses. My burger was tasty, but somehow nothing special, and I think £22 for a burger and fries is already a high price. The restaurant is really nicely decorated and the beer selection is good"

"We were greeted by a wonderful bartender named Noel. He showed us around the pub and shared information about the surroundings of Derry/Londonderry. The prices were fair and the castings were excellent. I would highly recommend this pub if you are interested in a traditional Irish pub."
