Pueblo Viejo is one of the best lunch spots on the East side of Des Moines. The food is always outstanding. The staff is friendly and most of them have been there for years, the service is always great. Service was great. However, the food subpar to say the least. My tortilla was so soggy it fell apart in my hand and i couldn?t eat my taco and my taco was filled with mostly tomatoes and barely any steak. Beans were great though! and Horchata was amazing! View all feedback.

Chips and salsa was pretty good. We were seated quickly with friendly service. Waiter was really nice and checking on us. I like how they brought out a cold mug...
