mushroom risotto was a summer. salt with little deep and underboiled. that said the rest of our eating (scallops, garnelen, filet mignon) was amazing! drinks were excellent. server was so friendly, warm, attentive and helpful. could not have been better. Thank you! View all feedback.

The ambiance was excellent but the food is not rated well. The meat cuts were extremely dry, the rice was over salted the flavor was definitely off with the walleye. Do not recommend. View all feedback.
We went happy hour to have drinks on the terrace. It is a nice location, but it was really windy when we were there, so we moved to a table in the bar. The staff was very nice to move us. My cocktail (Old Fashioned was really amazing with freshly peeled orange. We saw the bartender make many more drinks and he obviously knows what he does! We shared a flatbread, and it was perfect for the 2 of us. A great place for drinks and happy hour. Try for dinner when we're in the area!
I would recommend this place the next time you are in Detroit Lakes. Good quality food. Beautiful restaurants and lake views. Great service. Love the atmosphere. It's a bit expensive than other places, but it's worth it. The most expensive Hamilton Steak. Others tempt others and what you eat in a higher end. Everything was absolutely delicious and fresh. My husband and I went to our anniversary this year for dinner. They have a wide range of drinks (both alcohol and native drinks). I had the strawberry limonade refreshment. Was delicious). I had the Hamilton Steak and my husband had the new York stripe I believe. Both mouthwaters. They also had a good selection of foods. The dessert was also very good, although he just looked. The taste was very rich and moist. Better than I guess. Try Fireside... They won't be disappointed.
Great food, great service, great experience. My wife and I had bounced the almonds Walleye and Ribeye Steak. Both were great and the steak perfectly cooked. We were not rushed and given time to enjoy any course and drinks. If I had to give a negative, I would say skip the addition to scallops to make the steak surf and lawn. Although the scallops were good, they were just two small scallops for $11. It's just not worth us. But this is a very small set back. And you get a lot of food with your order (Salad, Bread, Pages) We would highly recommend, and we will certainly go back.
A beautiful, fine restaurant right on the water with large bay windows. The service was amazing and the food was mouthwater.
Absolutely phenomenal! The food was delicious, our server Barb was so nice and just amazing! The portions were generous as well. The plates, and cheese boards were so cool. Then you add the view of the sun setting over the lake! Just fantastic!
