"Surprisingly great food for a humble mountain town diner. Everything is super fresh and well prepared. Soup is homemade. Prices are VERY reasonable. I tried the tuna melt, onion rings, and salad, and I would recommend all. Even came back for breakfast and would also recommend the Big Cedars combo. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!"

"Two hungry fisherman wandered into the rebuilding town of Detroit when we saw the charcoaling oasis, Connor?s barbecue, sadly we were too late. Although the owner saw us as he sat on his golf cart and said sorry boys this is the last barbecue of the day andhe held up his plate with two barbecue wings. He gave me one and I shared it with my buddy. I have never eaten a better tastingchicken wing than that."

"All vegetarian, organic meals served in this hot spring retreat center. we had day tickets to visit the lunch and dinner buffet. they had “special diet” versions of the main dishes (no ice, no milk and I don’t think any gluten) and everything was really good and plentiful! lunch was a cale suppe, roasted vegetables, brote and salatable. In the evening was a polnta-casrole and salatable. a very relaxing place to be in the forest. beautiful staff, very peaceful and quiet."
