Lovely cafe right across the street from Orchestra Hall. My daughter plays with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Civic Youth Concert band so I have time to burn during her rehearsals. Give Thanks is a great place to grab a pasty and coffee. The croissants are butter and flaky. Delicious. The iced latte is out of this world good. I see myself being a frequent customer. My family and I are asian. When we came in, the staff is super moody, doesn’t welcome, and used phone all the time. But when my family brought white people to this place, the staff serviced them incredibly nice. What a standard. Even though the pastries are good. If you are Asians Beware!
