What Dietz doesn't like about Mudgie's:
I ordered takeout from this restaurant, and it will be my last attempt to find good brisket in Detroit. The meat was dry and lacked flavor, the bread was unremarkable, and the portion sizes were small for the price. On a positive note, the staff were very friendly. I'm a bit surprised by the high ratings, but perhaps I just chose the wrong dish. View all feedback.

The best food in Detroit. The new dinner options are fantastic and the pickles, well, soooooooo good. Fresh bread, great drinks and the best **** Mary in town. Get here. Now.
Great food. And we tried a variety: meat lisf dinner, menu sandwich and build your own sandwich. Also a wide variety on the beer selection. Great service. We had a great time. We look forward to using the outdoor seating in a few months.
This place is amazing. We waited on our lunch for a while because it got super busy. So the owner sent us a free appetizer and the manager took 15% off of our bill. The food and the service are great!
Such a great atmosphere! Also very fresh ingredients. On top of that, the staff is polite and hospitable.
