First time in Detroit and figured we needed to give the coney dogs a try. We hit up both Lafayette and then American Coney Island right next door. We started with Lafayette because American looked like it had a lot more bells and whistles, while Lafayette had a more hole-in-the-wall sort of vibe. Lafayette service is super fast.
