Tunna's Book Cafe - Dharamsala

Book Cafe in the mountains is a hidden gem! The combination of breathtaking mountain views and the charm of this cafe is truly unique. You can enjoy a good book while sipping on delicious coffee/chai in the midst of nature. The serene surroundings and fresh mountain air with adjacent water stream which came from dhoulavira's glacier make it a dreamy escape.I'm reviewing here with my first day experience but now in few more days its will become my second home.

I love cafes, coffee, books and this cafe wrapped all of this into this one space. This cafe has spacious inside and outside sitting with breathtaking mountain views with river flowing. It was beautiful to see so many students and people studying, reading and working quitely. I was here twice and spent a lot of time writing and reading with delicious coffee and food :

A beautiful cafe with a free library!! What a fantastic and noble idea!! Come here, read, eat or just sit and look at the river and snow-clad mountains!! Food here is very fresh, delicious and pocket friendly. A must visit when you are in or around Dharamshala.

Perfect destination for book and food lovers. You can read different types of books while sipping your coffee in a peaceful environment. Food is also delicious specially Vegetable sandwich and white pasta. Service is very prompt. Staff is humble and friendly. Seating is comfortable. Washroom is neat and clean.

Loved the vibe of the place. Had piping hot coffee sitting right next to the stream with the mountains in the background... It was awesome! Kids had a fun time reading the books in the ground floor reading nook. We picked up a few handmade items on sale in the cafe too. Would love to visit again on our next trip to Dharamshala.
