We made the terrible mistake of not filling our petrol tank before leaving Christchurch centre and arrived into Diamond Harbour on 0 fuel only to find there is no petrol station. The staff at the cafe went above and beyond to find a local superhero who had a can of fuel in his truck. It absolutely rescued us from what could have been a nightmare.
