What BrightonShredhead doesn't like about Lavantoura:
This is a small, clean pizza place over the bridges from Dieppe town centre. We went there because we fancied a change from the French food we'd had in other places. The grande pizzas were huge with loads of topping. They were deep pan, which made a nice change, and well cooked. There's an uninspiring drinks menu but the staff are friendly and it's good value. We were waiting for our ferry home and decided to go for some tea in Dieppe before we got on the boat. We looked on TripAdvisor to find a pizza restaurant and found Lavantoura due to the good reviews and I'm so glad we did as the pizza was absolutely delicious. Cooked in an authentic pizza oven. Lovely staff. Very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit!
We were in Dieppe harbour and fancied pizza. This small takeaway trattoria is a fair old walk from the harbour as you have to walk around 3 sides to get there. Anyway we stupidly ordered 2 large pizzas. Stupid because there were two of us and 2 pizzas from this place will easily feed 4 or 6. Walking back having to keep them level my arms were falling off. The pizzas weighed a ton! The primavera alone had an entire shop full of veg on it and it was proper tasty. The diavolo came with a sachet of chilli oil and was very very good. Was it worth the walk? You bet.

We had better meals in Dieppe but the algorithms have got it to top spot. Interesting fish tank.
Thick pizza dough and which lacks cooking very often. I'm a regular, and she was better off. They are also a little too busy and difficult to eat by hand. cooked bends would be a feast
