We discovered Sydney Street Pub on the recommendation of our accommodation owner and we are so glad we did! It was hands down the best pub meal we have had in Nova Scotia since arriving. The seafood cuisine was fabulous, with dishes that were bursting with fresh seafood in a delicious broth. We enjoyed a Caesar salad with croutons and amazing lobster sliders at a very reasonable price. The owners even shared a birthd... View all feedback.

It was my husband's birthday and he said his burger was good. I had the fish and chips, the salad was good but it had apples that were brown. The service was slow, but the fish was tasty. The batter was too greasy, so I couldn't finish it. The staff sang happy birthday to him and we enjoyed some blueberry cheesecake for dessert. View all feedback.
Had a great meal from their special menu-pulled pork quesadilla. Fun setting although away from waterfront. Worth the trip up the hill!
We loved this place so much we ate here twice for dinner. The food, atmosphere, waitresses, music, drinks, and new friends totally made this a wonderful treat. If you have a chance sit on the roof, enjoy a drink, bring a sweater and just watch the sunset. Once it's dark go down for some music and dance away if you wish and sing to songs old and new. The owner schooled us on the history of Digby and Nova Scotia since we were not from Canada and was a delight.
Stopped here for lunch so glad we did because the people were friendly and the food was delicious! Had Digby scallops for appetizer and Green curry with shrimp and glass noodles. Curry was really outstanding! So many wonderful flavors and just the right amount of heat. They were busy so it took a while but it was worth the wait!!
Not sure why there's been only 1 review on this place. Best seafood chowder since I've been in Nova Scotia. There were 4 incredible scallops in my chowder that literally melted in my mouth. Someone in our group had the French onion soup which was outstanding. The fish tacos were a hit. Large salads- loved the Caesar and Greek salad. Friendly, great service. Highly recommended!
We started off with drinks and then had a very delicious steak dinner. The ribeyes were local and so was the wine. We sat outside and made our way in to enjoy an amazing live music performance by singer piano player called Noelle. She sings so many fun songs that your toes will be tapping, your hands will be clapping. We sang along to the The Day The Music Died and my wife and I admitted later that we got a little tear in our eye during the performance. If you 're in Digby and looking for good food and great entertainment, this is the place to be.
