"This is certainly Japanese meets French cuisine rather than a pure Japanese restaurant. OK it is run by Japanese and the Japanese dishes were authentic (a bit stingy on the wasabi for the sashimi), but of course they are limited to what ingredients are available...and to have to pander to the tastes of the majority of their (probably non Japanese) customers. The service was a little slow or inattentive. It was good food and a good blend of Japan and the West favouring the local visitors perhaps. Would I go back – No I have been spoiled by many trips to Japan and of have enjoyed a wide variety of pure Japanese menus."
