"Great eating, great service, great atmosphere! many choices in the menu to please everyone and a good selection of beer and if they are not sure what to get, they have fantastic daily specialties to choose. food made fresh to even make gluten-free choices available with fresh ingredients. "Amazing fish and chips, with every Saturday GLUTEN FREE special. Staff is incredibly nice, welcoming and knowledgeable about all their products. Fish is great, haddock and MSc certified Cod (even if I rather not eat cod as the stock is really low, something certification can 't change as of now). Fish batter both regular and gluten free were super crisp and light, with a great flavor. Onion rigs were superb and very fresh. They also have ice-cream but haven 't tried it. Looks great though. Get ur fish and walk 100m to the view point with the cannons, where there are benches and tables to eat your fish and chips with a view. All in all amazing experience, especially in a winter sunny day. Ps. Across the road you can buy a beer, cider or a locally roasted hot coffee at the gourmet pig to compete the meal or before the drive back home. "The first time we came a few years ago, we said it was as good as rick stone. never less than well visited our other last night was stunning good. fresh crumbs and scallops as starters, fresh, tasty and a perfect portion size. the hake and halibut (young, that must have been a big fish, as my part was a generous filet over the fish). cooked with the local potato, which are quite excellent in their own, “to the point” and we are already booked for next week. concerning the fish, they have “bury it home”."
