"Great eating, great service, great atmosphere! many choices in the menu to please everyone and a good selection of beer and if they are not sure what to get, they have fantastic daily specialties to choose. food made fresh to even make gluten-free choices available with fresh ingredients. "There is no doubt that the kitchen staff can cook, we were pleased with the cuisine. However, service could be friendlier and faster...we waited more than an hour between starter and main course, which is not acceptable, especially as there was no explanation for the delay or apology. We didn't see the waiter who was concentrating on the main dining area...it was like we had been forgotten. Limited opening times, but potentially a great restaurant if waiting staff could show a bit more enthusiasm and attention."

"Amazing fish and chips, with every Saturday GLUTEN FREE special. Staff is incredibly nice, welcoming and knowledgeable about all their products. Fish is great, haddock and MSc certified Cod (even if I rather not eat cod as the stock is really low, something certification can 't change as of now). Fish batter both regular and gluten free were super crisp and light, with a great flavor. Onion rigs were superb and very fresh. They also have ice-cream but haven 't tried it. Looks great though. Get ur fish and walk 100m to the view point with the cannons, where there are benches and tables to eat your fish and chips with a view. All in all amazing experience, especially in a winter sunny day. Ps. Across the road you can buy a beer, cider or a locally roasted hot coffee at the gourmet pig to compete the meal or before the drive back home. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free fish and chips on Saturday for lunch. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"

"We had the great pleasure to visit the shed in porthgain, pembrokeshire tonight for the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. we tried to get a table last year, but the restaurant was fully booked on the day we decided to visit. but this time we booked and we were well rewarded. the cod was huge, the chips were beautiful and crisp and were harvested with some beautiful garden and some really beautiful tartaric acid sauce served. the cod tasted really good and was cooked to perfection, beautiful and flaky and so delicate. yum yum! it was soouo good and all served by a woman called ffion and a beautiful guy with dark curly hair. they don't know his name. the only problem was that the fish was so big that I couldn't eat everything, so my man took the plate to the counter to ask if we could have a doggy bag, so ayesha (our afghan hound) could also have a tasty bite. the young in the writing looked a bit terrible when he saw how my man went with the teller to them because they thought it was wrong with the meal. they were a little revived to hear that he only wanted a doggy bag so that we could take the fish home for our dog lol. but I say that sincerely, eating and the restaurant and the staff were all fabulous and worth visiting."
