What User likes about El Carruaje:
This place is near the main plaza in Dolores Hidalgo, and the Jose Alfredo Jimenez museum. The place is a small old house with room at the enter... in the middle of it, at the back and a small place on the roof. For meal... yuou have a menu , or, a "comida corrida", this a small menu with 3 selected soups, 3 selected dishes (you have to choose one soup and one dish) and a small dessert. Enjoy...!!! Located a short stroll from Jardin Centro in an old building with a very nice & colorful dining room.Daily specials are priced at $90 MXN which include a selection of a la carte items plus dessert. (BTW, the flan was inedible & resembles an inverted plastic cup that you get when you buy a bottle of cough syrup). Three of us had that but I went for the "Enchiladas Suizas" which were quite good.
