"Chaque fois que je viens en Mayenne, je ne manque jamais d'aller manger chez Hervé Chesneau. C'est toujours aussi incroyable. Sans conteste le meilleur rapport qualité / quantité / prix qu'on peut imaginer. Pour 12 €, on a un excellent repas pantagruélique, avec une bouteille de vin et un café compris. C'est très simple comme mode d'emploi : on arrive au restaurant, on s'installe et on attend (pas très longtemps car le service est rapide, aimable et efficace) que la 1re entrée arrive. Puis la 2e entrée. Puis le plat garni. Puis le plateau de fromage avec la confiture maison. Et enfin, le dessert. Et le café. On ne choisit pas, le menu est unique et change tous les jours. En cas de nécessité, il y a toujours une solution de rechange, pour satisfaire le client. Tous les produits sont frais : légumes du potager, charcuteries, confitures et mayonnaise maison... L'ambiance est très conviviale et l'accueil chaleureux. On vient chez Chesneau comme à un grand repas de famille."

"We spent two excellent nights in this architecturally original hotel. The location is perfect: at the foot of walks in the woods and next to the center. The hotel restaurant is excellent (and we are professionals) with very creative and delicious offerings. Despite the Norman weather of February, we had a very relaxing stay, in particular thanks to the wellness area reserved for a private slot. Thanks again to the whole team with whom we had great discussions"

"We were welcomed freshly (probably because we are accompanied by our 4-year-old baby and 2-month-old baby stroller?) but then the service was pleasant.2 original and very good salads, an emmental ham tartine (anything) sparkling water and 2 coffees for less than 40 euros. Good address."

"We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch with friends whilst on a short break to Normandy. The menu choice was not extensive but enough to satisfy everyone’s taste, our food was more than excellent. The service was superb, friendly and on cue throughout the whole...meal. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area, though trust me it is worth a drive if you are not."
