"We were very excited to eat here as we had heard lots of great reviews. We each ordered from the 3 course 35 euro lunch menu and the food was fantastic. After the second course, we decided we weren’t quite hungry enough to have one dessert each so we ended up splitting one. It was decent. However, when the bill came it was 74 euros and we were told that because we didn’t take all 3 courses for one of our meals we needed to pay the a la carte price. Had we ordered a second dessert and left it on the table it would’ve been cheaper. The woman at the desk in the entrance related this to “buying yogurt in bulk at the supermarket” It’s a difference of 4 euros which is not a big deal but it really makes 0 sense, had i known I would’ve ordered a dessert and allowed it to sit on the table uneaten."

"We were looking for a little variety and Vietnamese food sounded great. It turned out to be one of our BEST meals in the Dordogne! Excellent value for money (all food and a carafe of wine for 4 under €100)!"

"A friend who lives locally took me here to enjoy a local meal. I felt like I was in on a secret. I didn't want anything fancy, just good French food, and La Borie Blanche hit it out of the park. The setting is beautiful and off the beaten path, it's like going to your French Grandmother's house for dinner. Everything from start to finish was perfect, and all for only 50€ for 2. I'm still dreaming of the duck fat fried potatoes!"

"Small gastronomic pepit well hidden in a alley of the wonderful medieval town of Domme. Their nut cake is, I'm not afraid to say the best in the Périgord. And they offer a small selection of original and delicious dishes for lunch. Very nice welcome."

"Good service and delicious pizzas! Really little Italy in the Dordogne. Beer was also good, and people are really kind. Worthy to come back"

City: Sarlat-la-Canéda (near Domme), 7 rue des Consuls, 24200, Sarlat-la-Caneda, France, Sarlat-la-Canéda
"I'd booked this for our first night in Sarlat and once we found it I'm easily confused in medieval pedestrian areas we had a terrific experience. Mirandol looks and feels right, and the waiters were friendly. We tried different foie gras which...is really fun as they vary from chilled, pale, and solid to warmed in a liquid (my favorite is balsamic vinegar) and tender like scrambled egg. The restaurant was full, but we chose our speed for eating (slowly). The wine recommendations were really good. After our very filling repast, we checked out the cave in the back. It was really neat now I want a house where the back wall is a cave opening in rock."
