"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."

"Was catching up with a friend and needed to find somewhere Equiniti-distant from us. The cafe is on the small side but the staff are friendly. The menu is pretty standard but the meals were well presented, with adequate portions. Overall great value. Will be visiting again."

"Delicious food and such a unique dining experience. The buffet was lovely and included all sorts of interesting things (such as a whole wheel of blue cheese! The meat was cooked perfectly, and the whole team were really friendly, even going out of their way to cook us halloumi on request. I would gladly come back here next time I'm in the area!"
