"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."

"I can not recommend this amazing gourmet experience enough. The chef and his wife are knowledgeable and take time to explain every aspect of each dish and how it’s paired with the following course. Its a hidden gem in Yorkshire and in my humble opinion the best evening you could wish for. If I could rate this higher than a five star I would. Regards Terry and Kerry"

"We tried this place for the first time on Saturday and to be honest I can't think why we have not been here before. The food was amazing, excellent quality and to watch it been cooked in front of you added to the whole experience. The staff that serve you are helpful, friendly and cant do enough for you. Already planning the next trip where would like to try a lot more of the dishes. A diamond where you would not expect."

"Some of the nicest falafel I've ever had. Clearly can see large coriander seeds and chopped up herbs in it. I walked in so can't speak for their delivery, but definitely try the falafel. Delicious."
