What a disappointment, flat watery and like dishwater... absolutely terrible cocktails £8.00 each.. they should be paying you to drink here.. Avoid at all costs, better in Bawtry.. Needs bar staff training in the art of cocktail making.. No Confidence in bar staff poor...girl.. I don’t believe she is at fault just sheer lack of training.. we had a birthday meal here and the food was excellent! great value for the quality of the food and host/kitchen are amazing!

Visited this place for lunch not really knowing what was in store but the food was outstanding along with the welcome and attention

"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."
