I have an order over the phone in the night to pick up from load and I just say wood that was eating out of this world it was excellent and spot on could not at all it was warm and good size part to feed 3 people we over order warm it tomorrow the chips was nice warm and fresh tee to die for every mouth fully enjoyed when I open it every night of the week they go back. well made youngs and girls well deffo recommend... What 150julianw doesn't like about Shanghai:
What a shame for this takeaway who we normally enjoy most of what they offer, but on the odd occasion like tonight they get it totally wrong, girl taking the order didn't listen properly and the dish we normally order tasted totally different and bitter, I think we will be making a change and trying other establishments. Amazingly tasty. I’d recommend the BBQ ribs, crispy chilli chicken, beef chow mien. Always fast cooking times if you pick up. Highly recommend

Always had nice food from here. They also give 10% discount for NHS staff : cannot fault the place.

"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."
