Definitely NOT a 2.5* as per the reviews, which most of them are old, more like 3.5*. Disclosure: Came here for a UYE with other Yelpers as part of

Spigolo Ristorante is a small and intimate neighbourhood restaurantLocated in a small strip plaza so it might be a little hard to find in the dark..

The issue with smaller restaurants whose locations do not lend themselves to heavy foot traffic is that it's hard for anyone other than regulars to find out

The sugar shack is not there it has closed down and the new owners of the shop have called it the coffee shack and have made the shop look great

This visit to Dongara is my second time to the Sugar Shack. Super friendly staff and THE best big brekky. Perfect poached eggs with bacon, sausages, hash, tomat...

"We followed the signs posted to direct us to Seaspray Cafe, right on the Seaspray beach. Food was beautiful and fresh, coffee was excellent. Thank you to the staff, for a wonderful lunch and coffee. "We were recommended to eat here and were pleased that we did! Quite nice ambience and nice young staff to take orders. The menu is extensive and mains would be in the $25 to $35 range.We had an entree of calamari for $12 and it was HUGE and easily enough for 2 to share.For mains we had the snapper with scallops which was quite rich, generous and tasty.The chicken macadamia was equally pleasing. Both about $28.No room for anything else.The next day we stopped in for lunch as it was sunny outside. We ordered the bean burrito and decided to share ...cost $16. The chef halved it, put it on 2 plates with salad and condiments . Very kind and SO delicious.It was plenty of food with the bread too.Definitely the best place to eat we thought!"

"9 of us celebrated the last night of our holiday here. All of the dishes were very tasty and generous. Kids loved the ribs although huge! I really enjoyed the coconut chicken and my wife loved the mee goreng. No corkage charge. Thank you Dat...n Thu!"

"Coffee wasn’t actually too bad and was still hot by the time I got back home To be honest it was like getting shot in the mouth with a flamethrower but that is besides the point. However, whilst placing my order the barista shouted that this was the worst order ever. Unsure if he was unable to comprehend how to make more than one coffee, if I accidentally ordered a long Mac topped up 9/12ths, or if he was flamin that he had to go and plant, water, harvest and then milk some almonds for my wife’s coffee. So if you are operating around dongara drop in and see if you can strip me of the award of worst order ever"
