"Nice restaurant in the neighborhood of Gros de San Sebastián. The dining room is on the ground floor and is gorgeous. Dim lights and nice decoration. We felt very welcome by the staff. At the Aitzgorri restaurant they serve traditional Basque cuisine, just what we were looking for. We heard Basque cuisine is amazing, so we wanted to make sure to select the right restaurant to enjoy the experience. We were glad we picked this restaurant! We had ham, seafood soup, sirloin, red mullet, txuleta and to close this feast, a cheese cake as dessert. We loved the fact that they had portions, so we could taste several dishes while keeping the price reasonable. We also loved the maître d’o and the fact that he could speak English. I highly recommend this restaurant if you visit San Sebastian and want to enjoy Basque cuisine."

"Great little restaurant! Upstairs so a nice quiet relaxing dining experience. We had the 16euro menu. Unbelievable value which includes 3 courses bottle of wine. Every plate went back empty. Would not hesitate returning with single, couple or family."
