"My partner and I had a reservation for 8:30 PM. We arrived and immediately noticed the hostess let in a party without reservation. She checked us in and sent us to the top floor to be seated, only to find out two parties were waiting, and someone that looked like a manager or supervisor told us it was going to be 15 minutes. We stayed in the bar, and it was 9:00 pm, and a server gave our table away to another party who had just arrived. We called him out, and he sat us. For 35 minutes, we sat at a table overlooking Rubencafe, and not a single person went to our table or greeted us or offered us water. Servers were going to all the other tables to deliver their food and drinks, and we sat there for 35 minutes. We got up and left, and when I went downstairs, I spoke to a woman who said there wasn’t a manager and that they didn’t do anything for us. Even the people upstairs and downstairs said, ‘thank you for dining with us.’ I don’t recommend this ‘high price’ restaurant because service clearly isn’t their forte."

"When they are in old san juan and love beer, they hold 100% here. very cool mood and an impressive selection on tap. They also have a few local beers when that is what they are after. we spent unintentionally hanging around the largest part of a afternoon and had a good time."
