If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! My husband and I went there this morning for the first time. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Everyone and I mean everyone was so kind and helpful. They worked as a team to gets orders out, drink refills, and just anything in general. I was highly impressed with the level of customer service and actually astonishing surprise with the food quality. I would highly-recommend this restaurant as one of the best soul food places I've been to in Georgia and. I'm originally from georgia good job to will return soon
Close to an Authentic Philly Cheese Steak.....very close.....better than most renditions.
I really enjoy Burkes. They have a very nice atmosphere to go with great food that makes you feel warm inside. 10/10 for real. I like to get the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and cream corn. The Mac and Cheese is an honorable mention though. It tastes like it’s made similar to or with the white gravy and definitely worth trying.

My husband heard really great things about this place so we decided to give it a try. Maybe the food is better when it’s brought fresh to the table, we ordered our food to go and I was disappointed when my husband came back home with the food. His first comment was that the woman that assisted him with his carry out order wasn’t very nice. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were over baked with my gravy in a cup, not on my biscuits. My home fries were left out of the bag but when I tasted my husband’s, I was fine with the fact that they were missing. They were just tiny cubes of potatoes and nothing more. I guess you have to season your own food because the gravy for my biscuits was as bland as the home fries. Maybe we’ll give it another try if we dine in but carry out is definitely not an option.
