Before the lockdown we used to visit regularly the staff in the cafe were lovely and friendly and the food was good. After the lockdown we tried them again and they were sadly lacking so stopped going at Christmas we were with family who said they'd been for breakfast in December and recommend we try again. We walked through the shop and saw the delicious cakes on offering the shop. So we decided to go into the cake and have a drink and a cake or other. After waiting 10 mins our order was taken . One of us ordered a rock bun with the drink and the other a scone. The rock bun was brought oou first and the scone 5 mins later. The rock bun was very dry.
