This is a fantastic spot to relax and enjoy a cold beer. They have a nice selection of beers to choose from. I happened to be there when the karaoke was just getting started, and it was a lot of fun and very entertaining. The staff were extremely friendly. I will definitely be coming back to try out more of their offerings. View all feedback.
What Laura l doesn't like about Downey Brewing Co:
It sound better than it actually was .. Not really a brewing company .. more like a local dive bar that has a limited menu selection for food and alcohol .. It's an old IHOP that has been converted into a small joint .. Service was slow , they did not have a good A/C cooling system .. staff was not very friendly or accommodating .. I like it here. a lot of space to sit and the ambiente is alive. they have a good selection of beers, but I wish they would make it more visible instead of guessing what they have provided. also the waitresses can be seen in the quite beautiful.
Just... bad... all around.Updating my review 1/23/22. It is 1245am, the securities said no more people, yet last call is at 1:15am. By the way there's some people inside. This place lacks professionalism. I used to like this spot 2 years ago. Things have changed drastically, for the worst.
The service was horrible, the food (sampler) was beyond terrible. The wings were cold, onion rings tasted like the oil that they were cooked in was 20 years old. Stella beer smelled weird and tasted worst. Our server could've brought the manager over but didn't and still charged for the sampler. Wouldn't recommend this place.
Place is pretty run down and bathrooms were pretty nasty. If establishment fixed this place up, it will attract way more people
The back patio is legit. The service is great. Good selection of drinks too. Really chill spot.
