What Dawn Taylor doesn't like about Castle:
Tried to get a bite to eat and something to drink as we passed through. We have never been to Downham or that hotel. Very unfriendly woman ‘greeted’ us in reception. We clearly did not know the routine of the hotel when they do or something not serve food. Told there’s no food, a slight laugh, telling us food finished at 2pm (as if we knew! told we won’t get any food anywhere (it was 3.30 Felt really deflated leaving... View all feedback.

The castle hotel is in an ideal location, centre of town. although it is a bit pricey for a one night stay.
Lovely center of town hotel. Rooms are nicely presented and priced well. Staff are lovely
Just home from a 2 day stay at the Castle staff very friendly and obliging would highly recommend it
