What Sam S doesn't like about A&W:
The only time you get what you actually pay for is if either you sit in the drive through counting and dissecting everything ordered. Or dine in, and watch like a hawk, correcting every order, over and over. We miss the good old days, with “The Pit” and local employees giving out rootbeer suckers.... the time it actually felt like the “small town feel” A&W claims to strive for . This A&W has definitely taken a dive i... View all feedback. What Ben B likes about A&W:
We needed something solid in our tummy's before heading along on our trip, and so we stopped at this A&W. The place looks quite new, and is very clean. Our order came promptly, and it was what breakfast should be hardy and and tasty. The eggs looked extra large, and it's great to know they are healthier than the run of the mill egg you get elsewhere. We'd stop by again if we needed a quite bite! View all feedback.

read moreThe A&W restaurant in Drayton Valley seems to have lost its charm over the years, according to recent reviews. Customers reminisce about the good old days when it had a small-town feel and friendly service. However, with new ownership, the atmosphere has become sterile, and customer service is lacking. Complaints range from greasy and poorly seasoned burgers to old and unappetizing breakfast items. Despite these negative experiences, some customers still appreciate the nostalgic appeal of A&W's root beer, burgers, and onion rings. The restaurant is noted for serving hearty and tasty meals, making it a convenient stop for travelers in need of a quick bite. Overall, while the restaurant may have lost some of its previous charm, it still manages to satisfy hungry customers in search of a familiar fast food fix.
Not the greatest A & W, but it will do. Super addition to the hamlet. Good teen burger and fries. Clean bathrooms. Dirty tables.
